"The Wanderer" is set in the studio of Terrington Radio, a 1920s pirate Jazz radio station in San Francisco, and focuses on their radioplay "The Wanderer". Presenters Kensington Maverick and Victoria Buckinghamshire have the world at their feet - Victoria being a British socialite and Kensington a Scotsman pretending to be American.
"The Wanderer" play focuses on the titular character, a man who travels from place to place, with no clear reason or motive for his moves, other than a desire to collect photos.
Things go from bad to worse when he gets involved in the robbery of a precious jewel, and is forced to flee across Scotland as he tries to catch the real thief responsible.
With the ever naive and helpful Wanderer being helped by his stalwart ally "Trent", and the elusive femme fatale Ms. Ella Crescent, it's clear that "The Wanderer" has his work cut out for him - let's hope he doesn't lose his trusty bowler hat!
"The Wanderer" can be heard on Cuillin FM every Thursday starting the 5th of January, either on their website or frequencies 102.7FM or 106.2FM.
